Questions
Everything people ask before their first class
Including the one nobody wants to ask out loud.
Who can do bungee fitness?
There are strict limits for these classes, and they exist for your safety. You must weigh between 90 and 300 lbs, must not have had any recent surgeries, and must not be pregnant. Because each bungee station is customised to the individual, an accurate weight measurement has to be taken before class. Please get in touch if you have any questions about these restrictions.
What if I don’t know the moves?
Absolutely everyone starts there. We give instructions for all the moves before and during class, so you never have to worry about missing a beat. And if you do miss one — no big deal, we are all developing skills. Everything we do can be scaled to your level.
What should I wear?
Most people are more comfortable in fitted athletic pants or capris rather than shorts, because of how the harness sits. A high-impact sports bra — the kind you would wear for running — is recommended. Regular flyers also tend to prefer a higher-necked shirt or a muscle-style tank over anything low cut. We very highly recommend clean, securely fitting tennis shoes that tie: slip-ons will come off, and we mean that. If you have long hair, tie it up in a bun or a braid.
What should I bring?
Good-quality tennis shoes that tie, and lightweight workout clothing. Please bring clean shoes and change before class. A water bottle is great, and a healthy snack for afterwards — we recommend not eating in the 30 to 40 minutes before class.
How long is a class?
Bungee fitness classes run about 60 minutes. That is 45 minutes of active exercise plus a proper cool down, with extra time built in to get everyone oriented and strapped in.
How do I see the schedule and book?
The full timetable is on the schedule page, and you can book from there or from the C.O.R.E. Bungee Fitness app on iPhone or Android.
