About
A room in Redwood Falls where nobody is judged
Women-owned, small-town, and built for people who would not call themselves gym people.
The owner
Gwen Russell
After more than 30 years in direct patient care as a dental hygienist, I found myself at a crossroads. My own health challenges made it clear that it was time for some significant changes—both personally and professionally.
That season of life ultimately led me in a direction I never expected. I discovered a passion for helping people become stronger, healthier, and more confident through movement, connection, and sustainable lifestyle change.
Today, as the owner of C.O.R.E. Bungee Fitness & Wellness Studio, I get to bring together decades of healthcare experience with my love of fitness, education, and serving others. C.O.R.E. has become much more than a fitness studio. It’s a place where people of different ages, abilities, and fitness levels can move their bodies, try something new, build confidence, and have a whole lot of fun along the way.
I don’t spend much time looking in the rearview mirror. I believe we are always capable of learning, growing, and discovering what’s next—and sometimes the unexpected turns become the best part of the journey.
True success is measured by the lives you help renew, restore, and re-energize—empowering others to live happier, healthier, longer lives with greater peace. That impact reaches far beyond one person; it carries into generations.
Why bungee
It is the only workout where the room catches you
Body weight and suspended bungees create resistance and flight. You get a high-intensity, low-impact workout — core, resistance and cardio in one class, with the cords taking some of the weight.
The harness does something a treadmill cannot: it holds you the whole way through. When your body feels supported, your mind follows, and people try movements they have wanted to try for years.
That is why laughter shows up in nearly every class. Joy is not a bonus here — it is the mechanism. The workouts people enjoy are the ones they keep doing.
